A formative and entertaining afternoon for the children in Cansino, Dominican Republic.
The missionaries of Santo Domingo, Dominican Republic, together with some volunteers, visited a low-income sector of the Cansino neighborhood, in the National District, located in the east, for formation in virtues and piety, while telling about the life of our founder, Father Molina.
There they met with a group of children for teaching them catechesis, showed them videos on virtues, worked on coloring cards, and introduced them to the life of Father Molina and how he dedicated himself to the service of the poorest. The children had a formative and entertaining afternoon.
Their eyes lit up when, at the end of the activities, they were given bags of food to take home to their families.
