This year 2022, The Hermana Josefina Serrano Hospital has continued with comprehensive care in its three hospital centers: Cusco, Oropesa and Acopia, welcoming patients who are mostly dependent due to sequelae of spinal cord injuries, older adults or some cases abandoned by their relatives.
They currently have 19 hospitalized patients in Acopía and 21 in Oropesa, which are the extensions of social support. The Hospital cares for an average of 35,000 to 40,000 people with 19 medical specialties, a telemedicine area attended with the collaboration of doctors from Spain and the United States, and home health care with 5 missionary doctors who give their lives to those most in need.
