A group of 37 nursing students from Didascalio Cristo Rey visited the Oropesa Clinic on September 8th.
Each patient received a written and decorated letter from the students. Dressed as mariachis, they sang the mañanitas to the Virgin Mary.
The students also donated a cake with candles and non-perishable food for hospitalized patients.
They spent time praying in the chapel and listened to the testimony of Adam, a quadriplegic patient, which deeply touched them. The students left feeling happy to have provided a different day for the sick but also moved by the joyful and supernaturally optimistic testimonies from the patients amid their suffering.
