YOUR HELP IS VITAL. The Hna. Josefina Serrano Hospital relieves and cures children like Roger.

Last Wednesday, February 19th, the Hermana Josefina Serrano Hospital received Roger Chillihuani Huanca, a young man from Tinke, a rural community in Ocongate, located at over 3,500 meters above sea level.

Roger entered the consultation room with a beautiful smile, wrapped in old blankets. His appearance did not stand out, but it soon became clear that behind that smile was hidden a great deal of pain.

The Dr. her team were moved to discover the severity of his condition. Roger suffers from a severe dermatological syndrome that has left 80% of his body covered in wounds. In addition, he suffers from extreme malnutrition, weighing just 44 pounds. He has been unable to walk for a year and his teeth are badly deteriorated, but still, his smile never fades.

Despite his suffering, Roger expressed his happiness and gratitude for being in the hospital, where he received care and food. His smile lit up everyone around him and he gratefully acknowledged the dedication of the staff who cared for him for hours.

The Hermana Josefina Serrano Hospital is providing Roger with the support and help he so desperately needs. However, in order to continue providing this type of care, the hospital needs donations. Roger's story is an example of love, patience and sacrifice, and motivates us to continue supporting this hospital to relieve and heal those who need it most.

If you would like to help, please consider making a donation. Your contribution can make a significant difference in the lives of children like Roger.
