In Santo Domingo, our Missionary Sisters led a special day of formation and community-building with local children, focusing on virtues, active listening, and personal growth. In a safe and welcoming environment, the children took part in:
· Formational reading and conversations about respect, friendship, solidarity, and gratitude.
· Interactive group activities, learning how to listen, collaborate, and express themselves with confidence.
· Personal reflection, identifying concrete actions they can take at home and at school.
The presence of young people and adults from the neighborhood helped strengthen the sense of community and shared purpose. These gatherings promote holistic human and spiritual development, rooted in Christian values, and sow hope where it is needed most.
